As i'm sure you're all aware, today Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement. Having watched their tv interview I can only say what a wonderful couple they are. Relaxed and quite obviously in love. I wish them both good luck and much happyness for their future together..I think Kate will be a great asset and addition to our royal family..

i was quite shocked last night to see Diana's ring...it is a beautiful ring

but im not happy that they are using it....why? im not too sure about that.

perhaps if it had been altered i would have felt better about it.

yes i do know we are given or take rings from relatives...i gave my son my rings to wear when he got married...and was happy to do this...
and i know many people do the same.

it just reminds me so much of Diana's bitter life...i can still see her showing it to us...

to say nothing of kates blood lines...

William seems to have turned out a nice lad concidering when he was younger he looked from a car and asked "are they all the peasants"? Fortunately he seems to have taken on board more of his mothers attributes than his fathers as he has grown.

prince charles is due next for the throne...he is the prince of wales
