LOS ANGELES: Heather Mills, ex-wife of Paul McCartney has been sued by a hairdresser in Los Angeles who claimed that he was not paid for his services.
David Miramontes, who works in the name of David Paul, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the former reality TV show contestant after she failed to pay a whopping sum of US$80,000.
Miramontes was first hired by the star in 2005 but eventually quit in 2008 as the star repeatedly did not pay. According to the hairdresser, Mills told him that she did not have cash at that time.
Mills agreed to pay him after her divorce to the former Beatle where she would receive her money.
He also claims that Mills had used his services at least 20 times without ever paying once. She even started to avoid the hair stylist after receiving her millions.
Miramontes charges US$5,000 per hair cut for an out-of-office appointment.
The lawsuit seeks payment plus damages, court costs and attorney fees.
Neither Mills nor her representative could be contacted...
Just another boring story of the everyday happenings in Tinsel town..Or so I thought until I read the bit about how much this crimper charges for an out of office appointment! $5,000 for a hair cut..Yes..5 grand!!!! well I have a girl come to my house to do me hair and she only charges a tenner, so i'll be passing on her number to Mr Maramontes clients..
