for your lovely welcomes here - much appreciated
and to all the admins' welcomes to homesweethome - you can't help but feel welcome somewhere called homesweethome - what a great forum title!!!
it certainly lives up to it's name, and as a newie I'm still learning how to do things without making too many mistakes
is Cilantro a sweet herb in the US, Jony? I just love the flavour it gives to soups, curries and stews - yumshus
Merry Christmas everyone

And a Merry Christmas to you too Coriander. xxx
Sorry, I don't remember ever using coriander but I grow parsley for soup.
Coriander is called Chinese Parsley in Asia and Cilantro in America because that's the Spanish name for the Mexican crop.
Anyway, I was having lunch in a US Noodle House but there was something spoiling the flavour, something on the cucumbers I thought. Called the waiter and transpires the chef had been heavy handed with the cilantro.
So please can I call you Cori instead? : :mus: :mus:
